Call DTECH and we can discuss whether or not the printer / plotter is worth repairing or fixing (at no cost to you). Please be aware that we are not HP and we also don't give free support for your HP printer: we charge for support. However, you are probably going to spend $50 - $100 minimum for a repair and if the printer is $62.50 brand new, then it is not financially feasible. Some people still love their older printers because they print better than new ones, work with proprietary systems, work with old Macintosh OS's, have lots of dollars invested in ink, etc., so we will attempt to fix these, if you desire. The problem is that parts are not now available (or never were available) and so we have to delve into our supply of used printers to possibly make them work.

It is possible to repair most printers / plotters to work as good as new: the question is, whether or not, the cost is justifiable.

We have a warehouse full of older printers/plotters that can be used to replace or repair your printer. So if your printer or plotter software is mated to legacy hardware, we may be able to provide a like printer or plotter replacement for your particular needs.
